Organoleptic Properties
Bright intense red color. Characteristic sweet aroma. Firm and slightly elastic texture. Balanced sweet flavor with mild almond-like notes typical of maraschino style.
Ingredients
Cherries, sugar, glucose syrup, water, citric acid, preservatives (sodium benzoate and/or potassium sorbate), artificial red color (Red 40), sulfur dioxide or sulfites as preservative.
Suggested Uses
Ideal for cake decoration, desserts, ice cream toppings, classic cocktails such as Manhattan or Piña Colada, beverage garnishes, sweet breads and foodservice applications.
