Premium green seedless Sweet Globe™ (IFG Ten) table grapes grown in California and marketed under the Rio Blanco® brand. Originally developed by International Fruit Genetics (IFG) and currently part of the Bloom Fresh™ varietal portfolio, Sweet Globe is recognized for its naturally large berries, thin skin, exceptionally crunchy texture, sweet flavor and low acidity. Organoleptic Properties
Attractive clusters with large, round-to-oval, seedless berries ranging from light green to yellowish-green. The skin is thin, while the flesh is firm, juicy and notably crisp and crunchy. Flavor is clean, sweet and neutral with low acidity and delicate honey-like notes. Bloom Fresh reports a typical berry size of approximately 18–24 mm and an optimal maturity range of 18–20 °Brix. Suggested Uses
Ideal for fresh consumption and snacking, lunch boxes, fruit and cheese boards, buffets, healthy bars, salads, bowls, yogurt, oatmeal and granola. Its exceptionally crunchy texture makes it particularly suitable for premium fresh-fruit presentations. It can also be incorporated into pastry, dessert garnishes, beverages and cocktails or frozen for use as a refreshing snack.
Format
Carton (C-CTN) containing 10 clamshells with a total net weight of approximately 7.5 Kg. Each clamshell contains approximately 750 g of grapes. Individual pack weights may vary slightly according to the final packing configuration.
Storage and Handling
Keep refrigerated at approximately 0–1 °C (32–34 °F) and 90–95% relative humidity, avoiding temperature fluctuations, condensation and dehydration. Keep clamshells properly ventilated and protect clusters from excessive pressure. Quality and Selection Criteria
Select fresh, well-formed clusters with firm, plump and crunchy berries displaying a uniform green to yellowish-green appearance. Berries should remain securely attached to their pedicels with intact skin. Avoid soft, shriveled, split or watery berries or fruit showing fermentation, mold or decay. A light natural waxy bloom on the berry surface is normal and may indicate careful handling.

Sweet Globe™ is the commercial name associated with the IFG Ten variety, a green seedless table grape developed in California. Horticultural records document its parentage as B31-164 × Princess, crossed in 2003 and selected in 2005; the variety is characterized by oval berries, crisp flesh and resistance to browning. Today, Sweet Globe is an important premium green seedless grape grown in California, where commercial availability can extend approximately from July through December. Rio Blanco® includes Sweet Globe within its commercial portfolio of green seedless table grapes.
